ELE Course Overview
Through read alouds, shared, guided and independent reading, students will sharpen their active reading skills deciphering meaning and building vocabulary and comprehension. Engaging in shared, interactive and independent writing activities, students will learn how to organize and expand upon their ideas with clarity and precision. Collaborative discussions and oral presentations will provide students with an opportunity to adapt speech to a variety of contexts and tasks. Students will also participate in group and independent projects involving multimedia displaying their learning in diverse ways.
